Shinde’s Tikona Valley Farm is a countryside destination farmstay bed & breakfast (B & B) that hosts communities and tourists seeking a glimpse of rural ambiance and rustic experience.
This farmstay is located at the foothill of historical for Tikona, near village Kashig, Mulshi tehsil, Pune district (Maharashtra State), India. The farmstay is surrounded by mountain ranges and hills and overlooks a valley with a panoramic view of rice fields, water dam and mountain ranges as far as our eyes can see.

The structure of the farsmtay is made in form of a traditional Wada. A Wada is a traditional residential form of Maratha architecture, evolved under the reign of the contemporary rulers in 17 th to 19 th century in Maharashtra. Its style was a merger where features from Mughal, Rajasthan, and Gujarat architecture were combined with local construction techniques. In a Wada, the rooms are arranged around an open courtyard. Bricks were used to construct the walls. Columns and beams and the windows were made of teakwood timbre. The salient feature of the Wada is its main entrance and the façade above consisting of a cantilever balcony having pillars and railings with intricately carved designs.

In our farmstay, however, we have tried to make a fusion of the traditional and modern styles and material. This has made the structure a unique place.
Organic vegetables and fruits are cultivated and grown on our farm using cattle manure and bio fertilizers.
We keep cows, buffaloes, goats and sheep and chicken at our farm and separate facilities for the farm animals are made away from the farmstay. Most of these animals are kept free range grazing on the nearby meadow.
We serve milk and milk products of cow, buffalo and goat. Dishes of goats & sheep mutton and chicken of local breed as well as local black crabs & fish from Pawna dam taste very authentic as we prepare them local way.
